“Rice Planting” Pastel
£199.00
Rice planting is a back breaking job, yet, visiting countries where rice is planted, these landscapes is so beautiful to look at. “Rice Planting” is an original pastel on paper painting.
On visits to rice-growing countries, I have been struck by the beauty of the landscape and the demanding work of planting. “Rice Planting” is my original pastel painting on paper.
I focus on the two workers bending into their task, bringing the shared rhythm of everyday labour into the landscape.
